In June 2020, we announced a multi-year partnership with NASCAR as a weekly series entitlement sponsor. After a whirlwind of a season that started in late June, the first NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Champion was crowned in October.
Josh Berry, driver of the No. 88 All Things Automotive/iRacing Chevrolet for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports took home the first Division I national championship for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.
Berry, who is from Hendersonville, Tennessee, competed in 37 late-model stock car races this season and only once finished outside the top 10.
To commemorate Berry's championship as well as the success of all NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series competitors, a virtual celebration will be held November 30-December 30. Find details on the champions here and be sure to follow NASCAR Roots on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for even more festivities.
We're not done celebrating.
We'll have 5⃣ days of features, interviews & photo galleries looking at all the top achievements of 2020.#NASCAR | @AdvanceAuto pic.twitter.com/Ef2WXULLlb— NASCAR Roots (@NASCARRoots) November 20, 2020
