NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Blaney will be racing the Advance Auto Parts Ford Mustang Sunday, August 16th at Daytona International Speedway.
The paintout will include the brand's primary colors and branding. This will make the third time fans will see the Advance Auto Parts Ford Mustang on track this season following the Kentucky race on July 12th where Blaney drove for majority of the race with one hand and still took a 6th place finish.
Blaney is 5th in current Point Standings and has a 3rd overall Ranking. This race at Daytona will be a challenge for drivers unlike anything they have faced at Daytona before. The NASCAR Cup Series will be competing on the Daytona road course (realigned from the previously scheduled Watkins Glen International race).
